1. Acceptance of terms
By browsing this website, requesting a quote or contracting our services, you fully accept these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or contract our services.
2. Service provider
Services are provided by Muslimin International Halal Group SA. de CV., a Mexican company domiciled in Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico, doing business as «Cancun Islamic Weddings».
3. Services offered
We provide planning, coordination and production services for Islamic weddings (nikah, walima, mehndi and related events) in Cancún, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and other destinations in southeast Mexico. Services may include: Islamic officiation by an imam, certified halal catering, venue selection, decor, atmosphere, transport, lodging, photo and video, and overall day-of coordination.
The specific scope of each service is detailed case-by-case in the proposal signed by both parties.
4. Quotes & proposals
Quotes are valid for thirty (30) calendar days from issue, unless otherwise stated. Prices may change afterwards due to vendor adjustments, exchange-rate movements or availability. Proposals are personalised and delivered solely to the requesting client; their content is confidential.
5. Booking
Booking is formalised by (i) signing the services proposal and (ii) paying the corresponding deposit. Until both are completed, the date is not reserved and remains available to other clients.
6. Payments
- Deposit: 30% of total upon signing to reserve the date.
- Second payment: 40% of total no later than sixty (60) calendar days before the event.
- Final payment: remaining 30% no later than fifteen (15) calendar days before the event.
Payments may be made by domestic or international bank transfer, in Mexican pesos (MXN) or US dollars (USD) at the exchange rate agreed in the proposal. Late payment entitles the provider to suspend services without liability.
7. Cancellations & rescheduling
Client cancellation
- More than 120 days before the event: 100% of the deposit is retained (non-refundable).
- Between 119 and 60 days before: deposit plus 50% of payments made to date are retained.
- Less than 60 days before: 100% of payments made are retained.
These retentions cover work already performed, vendor reservations and venue penalties that can no longer be reversed.
Rescheduling
A reschedule within the following twelve (12) months, subject to venue and vendor availability, does not trigger a penalty, except for unrecoverable expenses already paid. Later reschedules are treated as a new booking.
Cancellation by the provider
If the provider is unable to perform for reasons attributable to it, the client will be refunded the full amount paid, without additional penalty.
8. Responsibilities
The provider commits to act with professional diligence, transparency and respect for the Islamic faith of the contracting couple. The client commits to provide truthful information, maintain timely communication and respect safety and operational instructions during the event.
9. Limitation of liability
The provider shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, lost-profit or moral damages arising from use of the site or services. In any event, the provider's maximum liability to the client is limited to the amount actually paid by the client to the provider in the six (6) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Intellectual property
All site content (texts, images, logo, design, code) is the property of the provider or its licensors and is protected under Mexican and international copyright and industrial-property laws. Reproduction in whole or in part without prior written authorisation is prohibited.
